Sync Users to Contacts Scheduled Job?

Is there a Sync Users to Contacts Scheduled Job?  Where would I start in building one?

There isn't one currently. What's the use case for this? I had thought that "Synch Users to Contacts" was generally something that would be run once on a site where there were existing user records and THEN CiviCRM was installed and enabled. Once you have Civi running in your CMS - then creation of new user records automatically triggers either insert of new contact record or linkage of that user to an existing contact (which is what the "Synch" job does).  What am i missing here?

Sorry for reawakening this thread but I am looking to do the same thing and the use case is as follows:

You have an organization running a Drupal/CiviCRM site (in the case Civi 4.2.x and Drupal 7.x) and when the CiviCRM contact record primary email address is changed from within Civi it does not change the user record Drupal until you run Synch Users to Contacts.

Note (additional info): I'm using CiviCRM 4.2.4 on the site in question and will be updating to 4.2.8 soon. The issue of CiviCRM not updating the email address in the Drupal User Profile is limited to editing the email 'in place' from the individual's Contact Record. If you perform a full edit of their record and save it, the email address is updated across to Drupal.

Hey Lobo,

You bet.... I'll update to Civi 4.2.8 first and see if the issue is still there. If not, I'll definitely log the issue. If I can figure out where the issue lies, I'll submit a patch too.

BTW: If there's a way I can do User => Member synch as a Scheduled Job, I'm still interested.
