Hi - this may not be an issue at all - and I tried on your sandbox with no joy.
Because I need to build reports with Member Data and Custom Data I am exporting from both CiviMember and from AdvSearch.
When i use exactly the same search criteria (ie just tick same membership type and not any other selections) I get a different total (seems to be out by 2 each time) between Find Member (CiviMember) and AdvSearch (CiviCRM). Yet when I export results I had the same data set (phew)
It threw me a few times as I thought new members may have been added while I was doing the searches, but it has become consistent - ie FindMembers gives me 4263 and Adv Search 4261.
As I say, may not be an issue of concern but thought I would post in case it is indicative of something not quite working as you might hope it does

Hmm - nailing this down may not be easy - but thought I would check this.

Adv Search = All party members = search result says 4621 - click on 'last' to see if there really are only 11 on it, rather than 13 (that i expect) - there are 11 - click All to grab all records again and hey presto it tells me there are 4623 now - click on 'last' (again - does it have 13 now) but even though the page says Contact 4251 - 4263 of 4263 - it only shows the original 11 results 

go back to Adv Search, redo to verify if two members have been added  - no still tells me only 4261

Export all '4261' records - get 4261 records

Go back to Adv Search - click All - get told there are 4263 records - Export (says 4263 to export) - get 4261 (brain ache)

This is not repeating what occured yesterday when it was exporting a larger number than it 'found'

Anyhow, i will desist. I will just not presume the number 'found' is the same as the number 'exported' 

If i spot any other clues I will let you know, and yes we may have 2 members with 2 memberships but can't see that i can find just them from Find Member or Adv Search as both treat different 'status' as OR - and can't get to this via Search Builder.

Okay - i didn't desist - instead of exporting my 4261 using the 'standard profile' i used my own and yay it exported 4263 - so now i can presumably check what the two oddities are!
