I have the most recent CiviCRM installed on Joomla 2.5.4. Everything works perfectly so far but I can't get the dashlets to show in the admin dashboard. All I see is a 404.shtml line for all the dashlets I have configured in Reports (Contribution Summary Reports, Activity Report). I have checked Available for Dashboard under the Report settings. I am logged in as the super admin so I know I have the appropriate permissions to see every reports. I am on a Godaddy shared linux server.

I can preview the reports if I got to the Report menu and set the applicable parameters but they wont show up in the dashboard. I only see 404.shtml under each of the dashlets.

Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

I even tested with adding "http://www" and got similar error.

Are you logged in on the same domain as when you installed? I mean with or without www. It makes a difference...

For some strange reasons, it now works. i changed my db password and when I now launched civiccrm, I see the dashleys. Not exactly sure what the db pwd has to do with dashlets, but that solved the puzzle for me. many thanks
