Fatal error: Cannot make non static method PEAR_ErrorStack
September 09, 2012, 07:04:03 am
Completed a fresh install of Drupal 7.15 and CiviCRM 4.2.0. When I try to use CiviCRM I get the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot make non static method PEAR_ErrorStack::singleton() static in class CRM_Core_Error in /home/xxx/public_html/cclcivicrm/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/Error.php on line 50
Any ideas?

See http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=24308.0 and I would suggest you ask your server admin for assistance. There should have been a larger error message. Can you post the whole text?

I think that the problem was that I had initially installed 4.1 and when I attempted to upload the 4.2 code the FTP program I used did not synchronize all of the code. I had mixed versions. Now I am doing a complete upload.
