Not receiving IPNs from Paypal

I have been using the Paypal payment processor for several years without problems. Suddenly I received the following email from Paypal and I need help figuring out how to rectify this.


Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

/extern/ipn.php?reset=1&contactID=12131&contributionID=287&module=event&eventID=33&participantID=373
/extern/ipn.php?reset=1&contactID=1764&contributionID=289&module=event&eventID=34&participantID=376
/extern/ipn.php?reset=1&contactID=12138&contributionID=291&module=event&eventID=33&participantID=379

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

This is for event registrations? Do all registrations fail or do some succeed? Is there any pattern?

Did you see this post http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,24831.msg109693.html#msg109693 about templates? Perhaps it can help you also.

In July I switched servers and created a new WordPress site with CiviCrm. I then copied all the CiviCRM data from my old Drupal version to the new WP version. However the theme I was using for the new site was incompatible with CiviCRM. Then I configured WordPress to run in multisite mode and used a parked domain to run CiviCRM. So the events are created in the parked domain site and the registration forms run on the original site.
Since then, none of the payments for our events have achieved a "completed" status - they are all pending.

Hmm. The URL in your post

/extern/ipn.php

isn't correct for neither WP nor Drupal. For Drupal it should be

/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/ipn.php

and for WP:

wp-content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm/extern/ipn.php

So I'm not sure at all what's going on, but I wonder if the URL was originally in Drupal format and now needs to be switched to WP format.

I presume this is stored in the DB somewhere, but I'm not sure where.
