Campaign Dashboard Blank
September 10, 2012, 02:41:55 am
Hi there,

I've been trying to add a campaign, however the campaign dashboard is blank. I know the campaign I set up must have registered somewhere because it is showing up in the 'campaign' field when I try to add a petition. Any ideas what the problem might be?

CiviCRM version:4.2
CMS version:Wordpress 3.4.2
MySQL version:5.1.61
PHP version:5.3.3

Cheers,

Andy

There should be an error in your apache log - eg. in /var/www/apache2/error_log

If you can find that & paste it...

Hi Eileen,

Thanks for the super fast reply!

I could not paste the whole error as it keeps telling me I cannot post external links. It looks like I'm missing something though. Here's the general gist :

File does not exist: /var/www/vhosts/...plugins/civicrm/civicrm/packages/jquery/plugins/jquery.autocomplete.js
File does not exist: /var/www/vhosts/.../plugins/DataTables/media/js/jquery.dataTables.min.js

Is there an easier way to post errors more completely to avoid "Sorry, you are not allowed to post external links"?

This part of the path looks suspicious to me:

"civicrm/civicrm"

Presumably if you take out the second civicrm the file is there?

I don't know much about WordPress but I would be concerned with
1) checking all directories & urls in your civicrm.settings.php are correct
2) deleting all caches (you can do that through the UI now)
3) checking urls & directorys are correct when configured in the UI (or jump straight to civicrm_settings table to eyeball them)
4) Make sure all wordpress caches (whatever they may be) are cleared out

Hi there,

Very simple solution. Just found the missing files and uploaded. Now it works fine. My bad... should of done this in the first place. Thanks for your help though. Not sure why the files were missing... I might reinstall anyway just in case I'm missing other ones.
