despite it is only a warning, I do not find the civicrm link in any menu, nor in configuration panel.

What URL are you running? Did you follow the install procedure as per http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC42/Drupal+Installation+Guide+for+CiviCRM+4.2+-+Drupal+7 ?
