What is the least intrusive way to alter the "Confirm Contribution" button?
September 10, 2012, 09:46:11 am
Hi,

We use CiviCRM for member management.  In our setting, dues are not considered contributions, making any 'Submit' button in the system that refers to submitting a contribution, wrong.  This tends to drive management a bit crazy.

What is the least intrusive way to change the "Confirm Contribution" button on the signup pages to simply, "Submit".

Is the button text configurable in the admin functions, or is a hack required?

Thanks!

Hershel

Browse to civicrm/admin/options/wordreplacements?reset=1 on your site.

Browse to civicrm/admin/options/wordreplacements?reset=1 on your site.

I'm having trouble with word replacements getting swapped in lately -- may be a 4.2 issue? On the demo site, I visited:
And I added "Other amount" to be swapped with "Something else" and then made sure it was enabled, but on the contribution page:
It still shows as "Other amount."
