We just upgraded to Civi 4.2.0 and we are working on registration for a pre-existing non-paying event. Following the upgrade, we no longer have the option to NOT send a confirmation e-mail for registrations that we enter manually. The confirmation is generated automatically without any opportunity to edit or disable it. Prior to the upgrade, there was a check-box that we could uncheck in order to not send the e-mail. How can we get that check-box back?

Hello Hannah,

I checked this out on the demo site and found the check box was still in place. Are you still having this issue?

I'm also curious to know if the event was created before you upgraded. Does this happen when you create a new event?

If it is not an issue with New Events, create a new version of your event, and import the attendees you have already collected.
