I have a membership registration with a pre-profile added for an organization primary representative.  On that profile I indicate the Joomla user account creation required.  This works fine.

I have another profile that is used for the primary representative to add additional organization representatives.  I also have Joomla user account creation required, but the Joomla user/password fields do not show up on this form.  Is it because it is not a registration, but only adding a contact?  Does this feature only work for registrations?  Or should it work with any profile as I am trying to do?

If it does only work with registrations, is there a way to create a phantom membership, or "free membership" for those additional representatives, that will then allow the Joomla user fields to display?

It is critical to my client that the primary representative be able to create additional users / contacts that can also use the website as part of their membership.

EDIT:  I tried this on the CiviCRM Joomla demo site.  The "Supporter Profile" has the option for Joomla user registration required, but it does not show up when using the profile create mode.    I am using v4.1.3, Joomla v2.5.6.

The account creation does not show up when you are logged in. So please ensure you test when logged out :)

Lobo,

That would explain the issue.  The primary representative would be the one adding other new organization representatives.  The primary representative would have to be logged in in order to have authority to add another organization representative.  Otherwise any "public" or anonymous visitor could add anyone.

Since by design this won't work, is there another way that you can think of how I could accomplish this?

I dont think u can do this via the UI alone. You'll need to extend Civi/Drupal via hooks and custom code to do what you need

please share your solution once done
