I'm confronted with the following problem:

Using the find and merge option I get an empty table instead of the contacts which should be merged.
See attachement.

If I click "Batch Merge contacs" I get several errors aswell.

I hoped to end this problem by updating to the current version 4.2!

Does someone already had this problem.

No, in the demo everything works fine.

It's like this problem (http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10718) and looks similar on the added attachement.
Except the number of the civicrm version is different.

Does seem like this is  related - you might have to do some more digging.  It might be that it is not happening on demo because the data that you are trying to merge is different / that you are using the demo in English.

If I were in your shoes, I would try and replicate on demo by 1) changing the language and if that doesn't work 2) setting up duplicate records that are similar to yours.

If that didn't reproduce it, open up the javascript console on your local copy with the issue (in firebug or chrome's developer tools) and see if there are any javascript errors.
