Extending Personal Campaign Pages (PCP) to include Team Fundraising Features

Can anyone point me in the right direction with respect to extending Civi CRM 4x's Personal Campaign Pages (PCP) so that they includes Team Fundraising capabilities? This level of functionality is pretty standard with respect to peer to peer fund-raising but it doesn't appear to be available.

If anyone is working on this, or has built something in this realm, I'd love to hear about it as one of client's is asking for this level of functionality.

The only option I can see if programming modifications but I'm open to configuration options if anyone has any insight on Civi 4.

I would totally agree with you! This feature should not be hard to implement into the core of CiviCRM.  I am open to keeping this thread going and finding out what it would take to make it happen.

seems like you have an idea on how to go about implementing it. If your org/client can develop it and contribute it back as a patch to core that would be great

Hi Wayne, it's a possibility. If we have to enhance the system, we'll be keeping the larger community in mind. Right now, we are just in an investigation stage and looking for funding to help support the effort.

If you feel confident we could roll this, what would be your target goal for funding?  We are happy to help put this into place.
