CiviCRM Profile and Profiles in Contribution pages

I have created multiple giving pages and need to capture some general information about the user who signs up online.  I created a profile under CiviCRM Profile but can't seem to link to it under Profile in the contribution page manager.  I also want to see if I can use a check box that says same as billing information so the user does not need to fill in the information twice if paying by credit card.

Hi - usual reason for a profile not showing on a Contrib page is if a combination of fields for different 'aspects' (member, contribution, contact, multirecord field etc) are being used.
Retest with a really simple Profile (eg just a standard core Contact field)

Try a search on 'billing' and you should find a recipe for the 'same as' option
