How to remove "View" from a profile contact listing?

Is there a way to remove the "View" hyperlink in a profile listing of contacts?   I want to be able to see the name, job title, and company of the contacts, but not have the "View" link to their contact profile in the listing.

See attached screen.

One way would be to customize the template for that page, as per http://en.flossmanuals.net/civicrm/ch063_templates/

Another way would be with css (if you don't care about security)
display:none;
