Greetings,
I posted a problem 1 month ago stating,

" We need to have pledge start payment on certain date. Currently no option to choose a date when making a pledge.

For example a pledge can be made in August 2012, but actual payment will start from September 2012. Currently pledge date is fixed when the pledge entry is first recorded instead of when pledge actual payment is received (e.g. in September, 2012)

That is the system decide when the first payment made.  And we can not edit it manually not from online donation/pledge  or through back end

We need to have first pledge payment by certain date. So when fill the pledge form there is date option when this pledge start."

I got the response stating, " this is possible if you are back-office receipting a pledge at the moment - but not through a contribution page. Ideally it would be possible to set the first payment date on the contribution page - but the code doesn't allow for this at the moment. "

Can the Civicrm team help enable the 1st pledge date configurable to when pledge actually starts by working on the Civicrm core code.

Please help in resolving this issue.
