Hi all,

My organization works with partners in several countries, so it would be helpful to provide a map of the contacts' locations. CiviCRM seems to provide exactly this functionality if you submit a blank search, then use the pull-down menu and radio buttons to "Map Contacts" for all records.

I would like to link directly to this map so the users (many not computer savvy) don't have to go through the process of submitting a blank search and mapping. Is there a way to do this without getting involved with the gmap and CiviNode modules for Drupal? Has anyone made a similar map? My site is running CiviCRM 2.0b3 and Drupal 5.7.

You can do this via profiles quite easily. I assume you are exposing your data via profiles.

1. Enable mapping for your profile

2. Use a url similar to:

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=1&force=1&map=1

Note that this does not currently work on demo since we changed the url, however it will work with a valid google maps key
