Issue with using existing contacts address.

Hello, I've recently installed CiviCRM 4.2 and it's working really great so for, However i'm having a problem when I try to use an existing contacts address for a new contact I get the following:-

FATAL: API v2 not accessible from ajax/REST

I understand that a fix for this was done in may 2012 but i still seem to be having problem. Any assistance would be appreciated. Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place.

you mean this issue? http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10261

which version of 4.2.x are you on and can you replicate this on the demo? if so, it looks like we might need to re-open the issue, otherwise might be a problem specific to your set up.  either way replicating on demo is a good start to the investigation.

Hi,

The version i'm using is 4.2.1, I can't replicate the issue on the demo so it's probably an issue with our setup.
