PayPayl, Wordpress and CiviCRM

Running on WordPress wanting to integrate with PayPal express. Input all required info (username, password, signature acquired from PayPal) into new payment processor screens. Created a donation page and inserted short code for the live transaction ID. This page (http://[my_site]/donations/) gets an error message when viewed: "Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment. A payment processor must be selected for this contribution page (contact the site administrator for assistance). Return to home page." However, I can navigate to this page when I spell out the url: http://[my_site]/donations/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/contribute/transact&reset=1&id=2 I don't get an error message when I do that. Any thoughts?
