CiviVolunteer

I see that there is a possible interested in looking at a CiviVolunteer addition. I am very interested in this for scheduling volunteers as they signup for an event. Are there others interested in this? You can see the initial specs here http://civicrm.org/blogs/ginkgomzd/civivolunteer-make-it-happen. We will need help in the scheduling area by early 2013 and we are trying to decide on going with a third party vendor, but we would love to keep everything in Civi. I have a reporting background so I could help with the report development if needed.

At this point we are looking for sponsors and seed funding for the above spec. If your organization can help with this that would be great

Do you have a high level estimate on what something like this would cost?

If i had to guess the first phase is a 100+ hour project (at the very least) so a USD 10K+ project

we have a few large orgs in the UK looking at it and hopefully will decide to fund a significant part of it. However i dont think that will happen till later this year at the earliest
