Event registration confirmation email: Missing decimal point of total amount
October 05, 2012, 01:55:41 am
Hi there

In my event registration confirmation email the decimal point of the total amount is missing, whereas the fee amount within the same email gets formatted correctly with the decimal point.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this?

Thanks very much in advance!

lucido :

Can you replicate the same on our latest release 4.2.2?

If yes, you should file an issue with our issue tracker JIRA (http://issues.civicrm.org)

Hi Yashodha

Thanks for your reply! Is it possible to do a quick fix/hack to solve the problem. The amount should be devided by 100. Maybe somewhere in the template of the confirmation email, e.g. {$amount|crmMoney}?
I think it takes me quite a while to update civicrm and maybe there will be new problems coming up, so I'm happy if I could bridge the gap with a quick fix.
Could it be possible that the problem comes up because of my payment processor implementation? The payment processor requests to multiply the total amount with 100 before sending the amount via POST to the payment gateway. But this Multiplication I implemented only in the payment processor files.

Thanks again!
Lucido
