Running CiviCRM 4.1.3 on Wordpress 3.4.1, and I'd like to allow mailing recipients to view the mailing online. Civi inserts the token as http://www.example.com/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/mailing/view&reset=1&id=34

This looks to be a decent URL, but when I click on it I get "You don't have permission to execute this URL".

Is this a bug that's been fixed since 4.1.3, a limitation of the Wordpress implementation, and perhaps fixed in a later version of Civi and/or Wordpress, or is it due to a problem with my install?

Any pointers welcome.

dont think its been fixed

took a quick look at the code and seems like it should work.

would be great if you can investigate the permissioning code that civi runs thru at:

CRM/Mailing/Page/View.php, function checkPermission

I did spot this issue after I posted: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10334

which suggests that it has been fixed in 4.2.x ?
