HTML Comments tags duplicated when I test mail

My CiviMail templates are commented with html comments tags

Every time I send a test email constructed from a template the comments tags duplicate. If I find an error and press the 'previous' button to make corrections, and then run a test mail again the duplicated tags duplicate again... and again ... and again for every rest.

It doesn't help that I'm prone to having to go back and forth til I get it right LOL

When I clean up the tags and finally execute the mailing the duplication doesn't happen.

Any ideas?
