CiviCRM Multisite and Wordpress
October 14, 2012, 05:03:21 am
Hi there,

I'm hoping to get CiviCRM up and running with WP in multi-site mode, but I'm having trouble with a couple of things.

First, what works. Adding contacts and seeing updates from both sites works - yahoo!

Now, a couple of things (searching for contacts, for example) send me to the primary site no matter which site the request was initiated from. Then I get an error message that contains the following text (among other information): "Site Administrators: This error may indicate that users are accessing this page using a domain or URL other than the configured Base URL. EXAMPLE: Base URL is (example dot org), but some users are accessing the page via (www dot example dot org) or a domain alias like (myotherexample dot org)." (URLs in parentheses, my modification to be able to post this to the forum).

Have I set up multisite incorrectly or is there a problem in the code that these pages are not being sensitive to the referring site and just returning a result from the main site, thereby throwing the cookie error?

TIA

Donald Lobo
