Wiki clean up

Is Wiki cleanup worth it?

I am pretty sure it is since having a clean and organised wiki is a part of having clear and obvious ways for people to engage.

The wiki as I see it is split into two main parts:
  • CRM - the project notepad
  • CRMDOC - a lot of project documentation.

Spaces

I think we should remove or merge the following spaces.
* CRM Planning - should be merged into CRM
* Documentation Commons - should be deleted - not used - i think this was originally meant for versioning but not anymore - is that true?
* Ourbank Wiki - this seems dormant - can we retire / hide?
* TO DELETE - CiviCRM 3.2 Documentation - agree with the name - we should delete
* TO DELETE - CivicSpace Administration - agree with the name - we should delete
* TO DELETE - CivicSpace Planning - agree with the name - we should delete
* TO DELETE - Testing Only - CiviCRM Documentation - agree with the name - we should delete
* Temp Space for Bulk Delete - we should delete
* Wiki Polskiego Teamu CiviCRM - we should move into the CRM space

Archiving vs. deleting

I think we should create an archive space where we can put pages that we think are out of date but still might have relevance to people.

There area a few pages that I think don't have relevance / are confusing / could be renamed / repurposed, like 'Issues just noticed'.  We should probably think hard about what to do with these spaces.  Obviously the last thing we want to do is start deleting pages that people find useful.  But at the same time we don't want to have a massively confusing wiki space.

Better organised CRM space

We've done a few things over the past 12 months to clean up this space.  I think 5-10 high level pages that categorise content are worth it
* Requirements and specifications
* End user projects
* Documentation guidelines
* Community
* Meet ups
* Sprints
* Conferences
* Training
We can then start to clean up projects into these categories.  What do you think of them?

I am guessing that putting docs into these pages will then probably help with the archiving vs. deleting question.

Wondering what people think about the above suggestions. Is it worth it / possible?
