Hi all,

I'm confused. Can an anonymous user, i.e. not logged in, register for an event and pay online?

I'm not clear if this is handled through CiviCRM or through Drupal/Joomla!, or does it matter?

assuming you have given anonymous user the permission to register for events, yes they can

typically a site will give anon users permission to: register for events, make online contributions and create/edit their data (via profiles)
