Using CiviCRM after moving Drupal installation
October 22, 2012, 09:18:20 am
I recently moved my drupal installation to another folder on my server.
Afterwards, I went into the civicrm settings file and edited the absolute paths to point to the new file locations.
However, when I try to load CiviCRM, I get a page that says "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
I deleted the settings file and re-ran the installation script, but after running it, I still get the same error message when trying to access any part of CiviCRM.

Is there any other file that I need to edit in order to get CiviCRM working again after moving the drupal folder?

Thanks

Hershel

Yes, delete sites/default/files/civicrm/ConfigAndLog/Config.IDS.ini and if that doesn't exist, then delete everything in sites/default/files/civicrm/templates_c/

Hello osarusan,

Did a bit of searching, and came across this bit in the Wiki:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC42/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location

Also found this on Drupal's site Seems to fit your problem, let us know:

Cheers,
