My suggestion - made about a year + half ago to Dave G who thought it a good idea - is for automating the selection of "IS DECEASED" in demographics to automatically select all OPT OUTs in communication preferences.

Just a sort of obvious benefit to the admin types like me who have to do one then manually do the other every time.

seems like this should be fairly easy to do either via jQuery (preferred) or via a trigger hook on the schema (since all the below belongs to the contact table)

would be great if you can investigate and submit it as a patch to avoid the suggestion being stuck in perpetual suggestion land
