Register participants without confirmation email

Can I have register particpants with sending a confirmation. I want to add history for old events and also have a backoffice function for doing the resiterations.

Hello bstackhouse,

You can go to Events-->Register event participants, and register participants for past events manually.
 
You can also set up a CSV file and use the Import Participants feature to register several participants all at once.

Both of these will allow you to access the participant history you are looking for
