Author Topic: Deleting membership payment from "view payment" screen throws error (Read 623 times)

Hello,

I've encountered the following error on both my site and the Drupal demo site (http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/). Here is how to recreate:

1. Use "Memberships > Find Memberships" and search on all memberships.
2. Select the first contact that appears to go to their page.
3. Go to the "Memberships" tab and click "Edit" next to their membership.
4. Select "Record Membership Payment" and enter in required payment data (I used "Member Dues", "$50.00", "10/17/2012", and "Credit Card") and hit "Save"
5. Click the "Summary" tab and refresh the page (may not be necessary)
6. Click "View" on the membership and then "View" on the payment
7. Click "Delete" and confirm

This causes the following error to display:
"Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
We experienced an unexpected error. Please post a detailed description and the backtrace on the CiviCRM forums: http://forum.civicrm.org/"

..however, the payment does get deleted.

Hi there,
Just wondering if you ever got this resolved?

We're seeing the same issue and also when using Renew Credit Card again with this we get an error but the payment still goes through.
Not a showstopper but a bit annoying - seems similar to this issue:

I haven't seen anything new on this issue personally.
