Drupal registration profiles
November 01, 2012, 09:27:01 am
Hi,

i'm using civicrm with drupal 6. I've setup user registration with civicrm profiles but i need to offer two regitration types.
Is there an easy way to set up civicrm profiles to show/hide different fields based in a dropdown selection or to have two separate registration forms?

Thanks in advance!

The term "easy" will be relative to your coding abilities. You would have to code this as per http://civicrm.org/blogs/dave-greenberg/now-its-easier-add-custom-behaviors-templates

How is the system meant to know which version to use?
You know you can set a Profile to require 'user account' - so one option is to direct people to which ever profile is relevant to them, and have 'user account' set on both of them (in Profile xx > Settings > Adv)
Not sure if that helps at all but worth mentioning perhaps.
