Contribution Page custom fields show up only for registered users
November 02, 2012, 06:16:23 am
I have migrated civicrm from a Joomla 1.5 / CiviCRM 3.4.8 to Drupal 7 / CiviCRM 4.1.0
We have a contibution page which collects additional information (via custom fields) and people can sign-in for membership by filling out also bank account details here. These custom fields are showing up for anonymous on the public webpage made with Joomla.

On the new Drupal 7 Site I cannot get these fields shown up on the contribution page for the public. Everything in the Profile and Contribtion page is absolutely the same on both sites (new Drupal and old Joomla). I gave as much permission as possible in Drupal for Civi Contribute for anonymous users: what let's me puzzled is that I don't have in Drupal 7's permission table the line to "Access All Custom Data"

Found the reason:
Our CiviCRM Admin GUI is set to "German", "Access All Custom Data" is translated to German (Acess alle Kundendaten" which means in English "Access all Customer Data" which I didn't dare to set to anonymous users. I gave it try and it worked, I switched to US-English and it shows indeed access all customer data.

What a nightmare. I switch now everything to English and hope to get along now!

Thx -G
