I am a fairly new user to Joomla and CiviCRM up until I found this project, I have done all my own custom website, and used quickbooks to manage donations/pledges etc...

Now that I am setup 100% and rolling with CiviCRM I am in love, there is only 1 thing I would like to develop as a module to CiviCRM and that is a way to have an area that has our bank account information in it. Think checkbook register, with images for receipts for each transaction. Also would like to have my donations go to an account labled to be deposited, then I can transfer those funds in to the Checkbook/Savings register.

Per the Developer Book, I am bringing this idea to the community first.

Interested in feedback.

Hi,

you should check out what is on the pipe with civiaccount. Joe Murray is probably the one having the best overview of the situation http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/Accounting+integration+improvements

Assuming you need something extra, if you want to have it working on Joomla, drupal and wordpress, do it as a civicrm extension instead of a module.
