Has anyone found a resolution to this?

The problem is still occurring in 4.4.5.  Since it was not resolved in previous versions, I turned off the additional contribution section on our membership page.  However, I really need to get it up and running again.  I just tried to recreate the problem in the joomla sandbox and it appears there as well.  I used a new contribution page, "Test for additional donations" and added "Additional Contribution" amounts (not a price set).  Then I turned off the additional contribution section.  Turned it back on and added different amounts.  Now they all appear on the page.  They also show up on the config side.  However, deleting or changing them doesn't seem to actually remove them from the db.

Per Lobo's suggestion, I scoured the db to try to find the entries for these amounts and manually delete them.  I was unable to find them.  I did manage to get them to stop displaying by deleting the entries on the contribution config page but they are still being pulled from somewhere because now, if I select "No thank you" it is adding a donation anyway based on the donation that would have appeared in that spot prior to deletion.
