Default to "No Thank You" on Additional Contribution field for membership page
November 09, 2012, 07:02:50 am
We use the membership page to allow users to purchase a membership.  We also allow them to add an "Additional Contribution" from this page on top of their membership amount.  Since upgrading to 4.2.6, the "Additional Contribution" label seems to have disappeared which is causing my users to not really notice that section.  The problem is, if they don't select anything, they get a payment processor error that "Payment Processor Error message: FE: dc_transaction_amount is required."  I don't want to default to an amount because the area is so hidden.

I would like to default the "Additional Contribution" section to "No Thank You".  I've found where the choice is created in the code but don't see how to create button as "Checked"

Any guidance out there?

Thanks!

Hershel

Perhaps you could use a template "extra" file and a few lines of JS code to select that option.
