If I Search Contribution then I can do "Update Pending Contribution Status".

Every contribution which is updated by that method, sends an email to the contributor with no visible way if disabling that.

Is there a way of switching sending emails off when performing the action "Update Pending Contribution Status"?

Nope. You can write the emails to a log file and run the action and then remove the email write to the log file.

Hello CatorgHans,

Try going to Administer-->System Settings-->Outbound email and disabling outbound Email before you Update Pending Contribution Statuses. Then when you finish the update, Enable it.

Yes, I could do that, but is not an option for the daily users.

I'll see if a patch is possible.
Contribution Status is also not selectable in a Contribution Custom Profile, so I can not add it to one of those.
