Hi,

I'm using CiviCRM 4.2.1 on Joomla! 2.5.7.

I'm finding that many of the hyperlinks in my civi install are linking me to the front end and not the back end of my Joomla site.

e.g. I bring up the Administration console for civi and find that all the hyperlinks there are missing the Administrator part of the url, so the hyperlink for custom data takes me to http://MYSITE.org.uk/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin/custom/group&reset=1

I expect it to take me to http://MYSITE.org.uk/administrator/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin/custom/group&reset=1

This is also true of the breadcrumbs which appear beneath the menu bar.

- Only happened after upgrading from Civi 4.1

sounds like your navigation needs to be recached.
go to: /administrator/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/admin/setting/updateConfigBackend&reset=1
and click the cleanup cache button. see if that fixes it.
