Unsubscribe / Opt out links don't work

Hi

Running Civicrm 4.1.4 on Wordpress 3.4.2

Trying to get my newsletters/mailings working properly and having a problem with the Optout and unsubscribe links.

Added the token in the HTML editor (rather than wysiwyg) but when you click them I'm returned to the home page of my website and the user's mailing preferences aren't updated.

Is there something else I need to setup?  Have been searching the documentation and forums and can't find a solution.

Its now holding up an important mailing as we can't send it out with dud unsubscribe links.

Hi!

If I click optout in the email it tries to go to :

http://www.mga-charity.ie/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/mailing/optout&reset=1&jid=7&qid=8&h=b4091901be9a7562


and unsubscribe produces:

http://www.mga-charity.ie/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/mailing/unsubscribe&reset=1&jid=7&qid=8&h=b4091901be9a7562

and ends up on the homepage of the website with an error (which is new?!):

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
There was an error in your request

a bit of an update.

I've just upgraded the civicrm installatio to 4.2 and the unsubscribe functionality is working (it unsubscribes the user) but the landing pages are all wrong - I get an unsubscribe message in the middle of my homepage and once I click to confirm the unsubscribe it brings me to an 'untitled' post - which looks dreadful.

I've gone through the menu options / wiki and can't see where/how to setup a proper landing page / confirmation page for when unsubscribe is clicked in the email.

Any help you can give would really be appreciated!

There is no configuration for those pages. they are normal civicrm pages and should be displayed as other civi pages

not sure what is happening and why on your site. would be great if you can investigate and potentially submit a patch. ping us on irc if u need help getting started
