word replacement does not work with hyperlink

Hi,

  I try to user "word replacement" to replace "Check Availability" on my membership sign-up page.  It does not work because "Check Availability" is a hyperlink.

  I found a patch from issue tracker.  Try to apply it.  But it still does not work.  Please help me.
