How use logged in user as the FROM address
November 19, 2012, 08:01:57 am
There's a message in /civicrm/admin/options/from_email_address?group=from_email_address&reset=1&action=browse, but how can I set logged in user as the FROM address in Mailing without to choose a from address? It seems must choose a static from address in the mailing step 3.

"By default, CiviCRM uses the primary email address of the logged in user as the FROM address when sending emails to contacts. However, you can use this page to define one or more general Email Addresses that can be selected as an alternative. EXAMPLE: "Client Services" <clientservices@example.org>"

It's supposed to allow you to use your own address. If you think you've found a bug, can you try to reproduce it on http://demo.civicrm.org
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
