Change the "From" address on a receipt email?

I'm wondering if there is any way to change the "from" address on receipt emails? It would be ideal to be able to specify from which email receipts are sent for both event registrations and contributions--and if it were possible to specify which email sends receipts for each contribution page, that would be really terrific.

At the very least, it would be nice to be able to specify contribution receipts to be sent from a different email address than event registration receipts. It seems odd for contribution receipts to go out from the Box Office, which is not staffed between productions, though contributions are continually solicited.

The 'Thank-you and Receipting' tab under Manage Contribution Pages -> Configure allows you to specify the FROM email for receipts generated by contributions that each contribution page. The 'Online Registration' tab under Manage Events > Configure provides the same functionality for events. You might want to browse the online user guide a bit to learn about configuration options:

Thanks, Dave. Part of the issue is I unchecked/deselected the "Email receipt to contributor" box, and yet receipts are still being sent. I had already checked the online user guide and went over both my CiviEvent and CiviContribute configurations multiple times. In typing this, I just realized that it may be an Authorize.net configuration, which is why I couldn't find it in the CiviCRM admin side. I will see if that might be the issue.

I think by default Auth.net ALSO sends a receipt.
