I have posted about this here before, but I think I have new info.
Setup: Drupal 6.24, UC-Civicrm 4.x-dev and Civicrm 4.2.6.

When I manually change the payment status of some order in UC I get the message
'Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
is not of type String

In UC the status is however changed, but in Civicrm nothing changes, de payments does not reach Civi. The Purchases tab is greyed out. Payments that do not need manual treatment do arrive in Civi. There is no way in bypassing this manual treatment.

Peter is correct. IT certainly appears that this issue is in the uc_civicrm module, not CiviCRM.

You are no doubt right, and so I did, but apparently this developer has called it a day. (Seeking new maintainer, maintenance fixes only). Tht is actually quite dramatic, it means that the entirety of Civicrm has become useless for me and one and that I have wasted one and a half year on this. Of course I cannot blame you or anyone else but very sour it is. Thanks

Without uc_civicrm, all of CiviCRM is useless to you? It's not really a very big module even, last time I checked.

If you have resources, you could post on the Jobs forum here and try to find a developer to fix this module for you perhaps.

It will help if you are clear when you are talking about uc_civicrm versus uc_civicrm_product

I am not sure when you started using http://drupal.org/project/uc_civicrm_product but it is very obvious that it has had v little support given that it only every got released as a -dev version 18 months ago.

As mentioned elsewhere, the only way we have been able to get what we required was by running both modules together.

But you are right the uc_civicrm is also getting very little support from its developers.

Hopefully since one or both of these are so crucial to you, you will be able to put some developer resources in to getting them working correctly again.
