Any recent Ogone implementors ?

Looking for people who have implemented the Ogone payment processor recently, and are interested in extending robustness or adding functionality.

I will set up a large international donation site over the next few months.
Ogone looks like a good provider with good international support, so we might choose them.

we are using it for wikimedia france. Expensive fix cost but works ok.

Seems to be a stripe like payment in europe:

But haven't worked on the integration. Let us know if you explore this option

I've done Ogone integrations for over 8 years, principally for online donations -- so I'm familiar with the API. There is a base PP available, but I'm trying to find out whether anyone has an updated/improved version of it ... or I'll have to bake my own :-)

The plan is to deploy Ogone payments with Civi for at least 3-4 customers between now and end of January. Of course, I'll be more than happy to share whatever code comes out of this integration exercise.

Not sure I understood. Why don't you use the existing extension?

If I recall, I had to fix something so it works with utf8 name/address. otherwise, works smoothly

I would prefer to use the existing one -- just asking if anyone has improved anything. Seems like you have ... did you push that patch back into the extension ?

I just got the impression it's not very actively maintained ... perhaps because it's perfect as it is !

Does recurring payments require the Ogone "Premium Bundle" or is "Pro Bundle" sufficient?

@pederb : on the Ogone side, you'll need the Alias Gateway for recurring payments, because that will give you secure storage of the credit card details on Ogone's PCI-certified servers, and provide you with an alias (handle) that you can use to trigger subsequent payments. As far as I can see, that option is only available in the Premium Bundle, but it's best to contact Ogone sales directly.
