Cannot edit recurring contribution in 4.2 with Paypal Pro, why?

Hi, I'm a little confused trying to find the "edit recurring contributions" features that are described in http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10076

We have an 4.2.6 install with Paypal Pro.  When I "edit" a recurring contribution I briefly see radio buttons to edit a pledge, and then it disappears.  We have CiviPledge enabled, but this particular contact doesn't have any pledges and the contribution I am trying to edit is not associated with a pledge.

Am I missing some feature or option?   Am I not understanding how to edit the recurring?   Or is this a bug?  My user is #1 with full admin privs.

I think you're specifically referring to the feature spec'd here: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10092

If so, the 'Edit' action is linked from a Recurring Contributions selector which should be displayed below the list of 'actual' contributions. That edit link takes you to a 'special' screen which only contains a few editable fields. Should like like this:

* Insert a new action link - "Edit" - on the Recurring Contributions selector IF the recurring contribution is NOT linked to an auto-renew membership (we don't allow Edit for auto-renew membership recur contributions). This links to a form where staff can update "Recurring Contribution Amount" and "Number of Installments". Also include [ ] Send Notification checkbox (default is checked).

I didn't scroll alllllll the way down on that big page to see the special section.

1. View a contact with a recurring contribution(s)

2. Click Contributions tab

3. Then SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN.

There's the 'Recurring Contributions selector ' you mention.
