Anyone else having this issue? 4.2.2 and every time someone registers the BCC address in setup is placed in the to field instead.

Known bug - currently scheduled for 4.4 fix. Would be considered for 4.3 if you can submit a patch prior to code freeze.

Okay, I am happy to help look at that. My though is that it lives inside the email template but I could be looking in the wrong direction?

Thanks, sounds like the fix is in the comments within the issue tracker about commenting out some code but not sure how that impacts other things. The second answer was to simply switch from mail() to SMTP() and that solved the issue with BCC.
