Cost of exhibition space at CHASE 2013

Attached is the schedule of pricing for exhibition stands at CHASE 2013, which I took from their sales brochure, which can be downloaded from.. http://www.conferencehouse.co.uk/media/download.aspx?MediaId=27 (which I would have attached here but it exceeds the 512KB size limit for attachments to this forum).
From this you can see that exhibition stand spaces vary from £2,520 for 6m2 to £4,200 for 10m2.

I don't know how many of these spaces are still available, but assuming that some of the cheapest are still available, if 5 companies, say, could be found who would each be willing to chip in about £500 or so we could take one of them.  There may well be other costs to share as well, though, as there will need to be banners, collateral (brochures, etc) printed, and maybe other items too.  Ideally the exhibitors should be wearing branded CiviCRM t-shirts but hopefully they will already have one from a recent CiviCon, or else there should be some left over from CiviCon London, I guess?

Exhibitors would be free to hand out their own business cards (provided that the exhibitors' business cards make it quite clear that the exhibitor is a CiviCRM service provider), so that if a conversation at an exhibition stand led to a sale then the relevant company would get the sale.

As I see it, there are two questions -
  • Who would be willing to chip in and share the cost of the stand?
  • What already exists in the way of banners, collateral, t-shirts, etc?
Just because the event is held in London, it does not have to be London-based companies who could stand to benefit from participating in the exhibition, as there will be attendees from all over the country.

Availability and cost of exhibition space at CHASE 2013

This is what is currently still available at the exhibition, so who would be willing to share the cost of the stand on offer at £2,000?
I would be happy to chip something in for this, but the more the merrier, of course.

They will be sold on a first come first served basis. 

Stand 36 – 8sq.mt. Rate price £3,360 offer price £2,520 – neighbours Third Sector stand 28, ASI Europe Main Sponsor stand 30
Stand 51 – 10sq.mt. Rate price £4,200 offer price £3,250 – neighbours Barclaycard stand 33
Stand 14 or 15 – 6sq.mt. Rate price £2,520 offer price £2,000 – neighbours ECL plastics stand 13, stand 16 reserved to a catering company yet to fully confirm

Deadline is ASAP so we can do a professional job on the marketing for you.  Copy deadline for the programme has gone so we would need to do an addendum.

In principle this looks like something we'd be really up for chipping in with. However, the start of this year is proving too hectic for us and we'd want to do it properly. So it's a no for this one I'm afraid.  :(
