Search criteria cleared after saving contact form

Using 3.3.6

  • Find Contributions > enter date range
  • Edit a contact, click save.
  • Selected date range is not in the search criteria.

This is a real pain for my client who has to edit multiple contacts within the search results.  Every time they save a contact, they have to re-enter the date range.

Is there a way I can fix this in this version of civi?

Can you please try reproducing this on the demo.civicrm.org site? It may be fixed in the current version - if so, upgrading your client would be the solution. If the bug still exists on demo, please let us know.

The bug still exists in 4.2.  Follow the steps in my first post for the find contributions report.  Filter the dates from Jan 1st, 2010 to today.  Edit a contact in the results and click save.  You will be returned to the search results for all contributions, the chosen date range is forgotten.
