customizing the "registration is now closed" message
December 06, 2012, 07:50:42 am
I need to change the wording on an event. Online registration is closed, but there are still tickets available at the door. I can't seem to find a place to modify this text.

thank you!

If you go to the Info and Settings section of the event configuration, there is a little field at the bottom of the page for a man participants number. When you type in a number there (you could enter in the amount of people you want to have registered online only), a window will show up for "Message if Event Is Full" and you can replace the default "This event is currently full." with whatever you want.

Oh I see, so in our case, the venue had a max capacity of 300, but we did not reach that total in online sales. So are you saying that I should have gone in and changed the max capacity to whatever it was that we sold in on line sales, so that it would show the (customizable) 'event is currently sold out' message instead of the "registration is now closed" message?
