Author Topic: Pledge does not become Completed after pledge amount is adjusted (Read 475 times)

Hello,
If I do the following in CiviCRM 4.2.6:

* Enter a $5000 pledge with 1 annual payment
* Record payment, adjust payment amount to $4500
* choose "Adjust Total Pledge Amount", hit Save

Now the pledge shows balance $0 but the status columns show "$500 In Progress" and there is still a scheduled payment for $500. I would expect the pledge to change to Completed status instead. Wondering if this is by design or a bug?

P.S. I tried to create an example on sandbox.drupal.civicrm.org but my browser window goes blank whenever I hit the "Add Pledge" button. CiviCRM version shows 44073.

1. Fixed the sandbox. Can u run a test there

2. Can u retest it there (and hence also test the additional pledge functionality). I dont know if this is a bug / missing feature / unimplemented functionality. But would help a lot if you can take a look at the code and see what can be done to fix this

The same thing happens on the sandbox. The record is named "Test JonathanMark". There is a pledge which is still In Progress even though the balance is 0.

I will look at the code and see if I can come up with a fix.

hi again, I have created a patch to fix this.
I created issue CRM-11528 with the patch attached.
