Cannot locate civicrm.settings file
December 10, 2012, 05:42:59 am
Hi there,

I have installed CiviCRM and all seemed to go well, however I cannot seem to locate the civicrm.settings.php file in /wp-content/plugins/civicrm/. Maybe my permission settings are part of the problem? I had file permissions set to 755. Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

Sounds odd. It should indeed be in

wp-content/plugins/civicrm

and if it's not, then CiviCRM shouldn't be working. :)

Thanks for the reply Hershel. I feel a bit silly now as I've just uploaded Filezilla again and navigated to where civicrm.settings.php should be and hey presto, it's there.  I am absolutely convinced it was not there last time I looked. Maybe it was something to do with Filezilla. Anyway all is well now.  :) :)
