Signed tarballs or hashes
March 12, 2008, 08:29:41 pm
Hello,

I haven't been able to find a hash (MD5, SHA1) or a signing key/.asc file for the CiviCRM 2.0 tarball distributed on SourceForge. Is there a means to verify the authenticity of the tarball that I've missed?

Thanks,
-G

we dont generate  hash /md5. we'll check if sourceforge has some options to do this and incorporate this in a future release

That’s a valid point. I filed CRM-2844 to track this.

Fixed in r15662. The *.MD5SUMS file will keep the, well, MD5 sums of the release files, while the *.MD5SUMS.asc file will contain a GPG signature of *.MD5SUMS signed with CiviCRM's key of 951B0313.
